Dad is strong with a bald hair and potlike belly. He sometimes makes childlike mistakes because of carelessness and negligence. But he is a good partner whenever you need broad shoulders. The big brother PJ is like a 5 year-old boy, who is actually 18. He is a daydreamer, while the real life is the opposite side of his dream. His little brother Gabe is much clever , who always plays tricks and makes troubles. Maybe the big sister Teddy is most rational. She is a beautiful, good singer with an excellent academic performance. Because of her naughty family, she is always on the way to trouble. Charlie is the new born baby in the family, and she is growing up with all the awkward situations. In the traditional Chinese family, children are always be taught to be obedient, focusing on your scores, making no risks and mistakes. While American children is more encouraged to be independent, brave and no fear of failure. When Teddy wants a new phone, both Dad and Mom taught her to work to earn it by herself. Every older children in the family should take care of Charlie on turn, including the 10 year-old Gabe. As a family member, you should take your family’s responsibility. Losing face in the general, betraying by your classmates, not being like by your teacher, that's OK to Charlie's family. Because we are human, this is the real world we live in.
